齐铁某蓄电池厂系1980年在原五七厂基础上改组成立的,以生产客车蓄电池为主的小型集体企业。全厂职工144名,调查接铅对象82名,其中女工77名,占93.9％。接铅作业分铸型、球磨墩粉、修板、涂板、焊接、充电、组装7个主要工序。年需纯铅24吨,杂铅40吨左右,年产蓄电池2400只。各车间均为简易低矮平房,作业场所狭小,设备简陋,无有效防护设备,工艺落后,几乎均为手工操作。工人无休息室,自制简易更衣箱置于生产
