交通工程 ▲ 成昆南段电气化铁路开通。成昆铁路南段——昆明至 攀枝花段电气化改造,日前建成通车。至此,国家“九五”重点建 设项目——成昆电气化铁路全线建成投入运营。成昆铁路南段 电气化改造的完成,使全线客货运输能力、运行速度进一步提 高,行车速度由60公里/小时提高到80公里/小时,运输能力 由2000多吨每列提高到4000多吨每列。并形成了北接宝成、 成渝、南接内昆、贵昆的电气化铁路网。使该铁路网成为我国西 部地区装备最先进的电气化铁路干线铁路网。
