苏州传统园林设计在中国传统哲学思想和吴地文化的影响下,以“有若自然”的自然观作为造园宗旨,其设计精髓为对人与自然和谐一致的追求。苏州传统园林独特格局与功能的设计体现在了自然观中的建筑分布、水石运用、花草树木三个方面,而园林设计中的人文意境设计对传统自然观的诠释又可通过自然恬静、含蓄秀逸两个方面来体现。
Under the influence of traditional Chinese philosophical thought and Wu culture, traditional garden design in Suzhou takes the natural view of “natural beauty” as the purpose of building gardens. Its design essence is the pursuit of harmony with man and nature. The design of the unique pattern and function of traditional garden in Suzhou is embodied in three aspects: the distribution of architecture in natural view, the use of water stone and the flowers and trees.
