在锻压生产中,由于模锻所占的比例越来越大,模具的消耗量也就越来越多,为了减少贵重的耐热合金模具钢和机械加工工时,所以镶块模越来越被人们所重视。目前比较常用的主要有圆形镶块模、矩形镶块模和局部镶块模。前二种形式均采用楔铁紧固,楔铁有方楔铁和圆楔铁二种。在实际生产中,我们发现前二种镶块模的模座比较大,结构比较复杂,模块本身也不小。由于模座与模块之间的间隙量大,容易造成错模现象,所以需要经常调整。第三种局部镶模块是用热压配合方法紧固的,只在终锻型槽的局部易损坏部份采用。
