布氏杆菌病是一种主要由于牛羊传染的流行病。国内文献很多报导。凡从事于牛羊或其产品有接触的职业者均有被感染的可能。解放后,由于人民生活水平的提高,牛奶的需要量激增,北京市近郊各牧场都不断的增购乳牛,多数购自国内熟知的布氏杆菌病流行地区,因此有必要对于这些牧场的乳牛及工作人员进行调查布氏杆菌病感染情况,以便给予适当预防措施。兹将1953年至1957年在六个主要牧场调查经过及结果报告于下:
