美国华特夫里特兵工厂完成了一项制造方法研究课题。采用这项研究成果,能快速而精确地测量105毫米M68加农炮管药室的型面。这项工作是由美国陆军器材发展与准备司余部提出的。达台测量装置显著提高了检验能力,然而,为保持极精密公差,采用了复杂外形的标准样板,因而增加了测量装置的费用。因此,希望在即将进行的检验120毫米XM256加农炮药室的新的研究中,将研制不用复杂的标准凸轮或至少只用一个简单形状凸轮的先进测量装置。
The Walt Free Arsenal in the United States completed a research project on manufacturing methods. Using this research, it is possible to quickly and accurately measure the profile of a 105 mm M68 cannon tube chamber. This work was presented by the United States Army Equipment Development and Preparation Division. The Tatai measurement device significantly improves the inspection capability, however, to maintain the extremely precise tolerances, the use of standard templates of complex dimensions increases the cost of the measurement device. Therefore, it is hoped that in the forthcoming study examining the 120 mm XM256 cannabis chamber, advanced measuring equipment that does not require complicated standard cams or at least one simple shaped cam will be developed.
