21世纪是一个知识充斥、信息资料如洪水猛兽般泛滥的现代社会。当人们想通过阅读获取更多更海量的信息时,自然而然的就在原有的阅读方式中添加了一项全新的阅读方式——轻阅读。轻阅读是搜集处理信息、认识世界、发展思维、获取信息的快捷途径。它直接扩大学生阅读量,在直面活生生的文字材料的冲击中,娴熟地运用各种读书方法,体验理解、感悟思考,形成广性化的、有创造的阅读能力,培养学生切合自身实际的良好的阅读习惯。然而,通过调查表明,小学生的阅读现状、阅读行为却令人堪忧。
