丙型肝炎病毒慢性感染已成为世界范围的公共健康问题,由于缺少合适的丙型肝炎病毒研究模型,所以对丙肝病毒感染机制、生活周期和致病机制的研究进展较为缓慢。树鼩属于低等的灵长类动物,许多生物学特性近似于人类。近年来引起医学生物界和相关管理部门的重视和关注,国内外的学者在树鼩是否可作为丙型肝炎病毒感染的动物模型方面作过十分有益的尝试。本文介绍了国内外树鼩应用于丙型肝炎病毒模型研究的进展情况及应用前景。
Chronic hepatitis C virus infection has become a worldwide public health problem. Due to the lack of a suitable research model for hepatitis C virus, research on the mechanism of hepatitis C virus infection, life cycle and pathogenesis has been relatively slow. Tree shrews are low-grade primates and many have similar biological properties to humans. In recent years, it has drawn great attention and concern from the medical and biological communities and related administrative departments. Scholars both at home and abroad have made very useful attempts in whether or not tree shrews can be used as an animal model of hepatitis C virus infection. In this paper, the progress and application prospect of tree shrews applied to hepatitis C virus model in China and abroad are introduced.
