边境建设的光辉篇章 靖西县是个边境战略要地,与越南高平省的重庆、荼灵、河广县紧密相连,边境线长达152.5公里。由于自然条件差和几十年边境战乱的折腾,这里的经济建设和人民生活等方面与全国、全区平均水平差距甚大,1984年全县有61％的人口生活在贫困线以下,被国家划定为48个贫困县之一。从1985年到1995年十年间,国家采取以工代赈的方式对靖西县进行扶贫,共拨给以工代赈
Jingxi County is a border strategic site, and Vietnam, Gaoping Province, Chongqing, Tu Ling, He Guangxian closely linked, the border line up to 152.5 kilometers. Due to the poor natural conditions and decades of border war, the economic construction and people’s livelihood there have been greatly different from the average level of the whole country and the whole region.
