The difference between eastern and western culture and art is a kind of already existing historical existence. The two major cultural and artistic systems of East and West essentially represent the two basic tendencies, or the two basic types (modes) of the spiritual life of mankind, which complement each other in world history of more than two thousand years and constitute the whole of human culture.
