Driven by accelerating forces of globalization, the issue of identity attributes, which has been seriously challenged by post-structuralism and post-modernism, has once again become the focus of concern of all factional theories and triggered a very controversial debate. This article examines the impact of the history of violence on the identity of victims and assailants, as well as their descendants; analyzes the emotional conflicts arising from ethnic, racial or national questions, and the resulting identity anxiety In the meantime, from the angle of the colonial victims and the descendants of the perpetrators, we explore the political and psychological implications of cultural attributes and the negative identities of both parties. Finally, it points out that in order to build a global cross-cultural cognitive model, it is necessary to combine the functions of cultural translation and cultural empathy.
