Graduated, college students of our time, filled with revolutionary ideals, passion of life and vision for the future, filled in “obey the motherland’s distribution” volunteer, the country by the uniform distribution of work, wherever he went. I was assigned to Shunde County, a Yumizhixiang town in the Pearl River Delta, to leave Guangzhou, the metropolis where I was studying, and to teach at No. 1 Middle School in the county. Most of the students came from rural areas. Rural students went to school late and were very old when they were in high school. They were almost the same as my age, and some students were even bigger than me. For the first time as a teacher, I was a little scared of these “college students.” Later, the students told me that when I stood on the rostrum and met with them on the first day, they saw my skirt shaking slightly.
