Germany is the country with the highest degree of population aging in Europe. It looks globally and ranks second behind Japan in its degree of aging. By 2030, Germany’s population is expected to shrink to less than 80 million. By then, more than half of Germany’s population will be 48.1 years old and more than 6.3 million will be over the age of 80. As the number of elderly people increases, the number of people in need of care also continues to rise. The elderly in Germany are fortunate, and in the degree of care given to the elderly, it is hard to find the right person in the world.
