我最初见熊广琹的画,是她学吴昌硕画法的作品;厚重、浓郁,但笔意恬静,不像老缶那样强悍恣肆。这表明,她学了吴的画法,但保持着自己的个性。女画家学吴不容易,学而能似,似中不失自我,更不容易。所谓天赋,不是学谁像谁的本事,而是得其法而不摹其相、摄其意而不袭其象、且能从容表现个人气质的素质。对重视继承性的中国画家来说,这一素质尤为难得。
I first met Xiong Guangtao’s paintings, she is the study of Wu Changshuo painting works; thick, rich, but the intention of quiet, unlike the old man as tough unbridled. This shows that she learned Wu’s painting, but maintained her own personality. Female painter learn Wu is not easy, learn and can be like, without losing the ego, more difficult. The so-called talent, not to learn who like who’s ability, but to get its law and not copy their phase, take its meaning without attacking its image, and can calmly demonstrate the quality of personal temperament. This quality is especially rare for Chinese painters who attach importance to inheritance.
