Recently, I learned that many editorial departments have revised the format of the basic content of journal articles in accordance with the requirements put forward by these retrieval systems in order to make the periodicals accessible to internationally renowned retrieval systems, especially those collected by the SCI in the United States. Among them, the biggest change is to translate all Chinese references into English. It is beyond reproach for the editors of the editorial department to find a way out and to go global. However, the author believes that the result of this approach has caused inconvenience to domestic readers. As we all know, after the text reference is an important way for scientists and technicians to obtain relevant literature information. The Chinese literature information in the reference is translated into English, especially the title of the book and the title of the journal. If there is no standard English name for reference, but each journal editorial department translates according to their own understanding, then even if it is For Chinese Science, Series A, there are not many words to translate. Different editorial departments will also have different translations. Not to mention longer names of periodicals and books, after translation into English names, I am afraid readers are very much Difficult according to this
