东京大学理学部小间笃教授等,在GaAs基片上生长离子晶体碱卤化物单晶获得成功。确立了在一种碱卤化物单晶上生长另一种碱卤化物以及在此晶体上生长有机单晶薄膜的技术。将这两种技术组合有可能在GaAs基片上形成有机单晶薄膜。人们指望在平坦性佳的GaAs基片上形成有机单晶薄膜,将会拓广有机材料在光学材料中的应用。
Professor Shinji Atsuko of University of Tokyo, etc., succeeded in growing ionic crystal alkali halide single crystal on GaAs substrate. A technique of growing another alkali halide on an alkali halide single crystal and growing an organic single crystal thin film on this crystal has been established. The combination of these two technologies makes it possible to form organic single crystal thin films on GaAs substrates. It is expected that the formation of organic single crystal thin film on a flat GaAs substrate will broaden the application of organic materials in optical materials.
