提高长床身机床如龙门铣床及龙门刨床等的加工精度,其床身导轨精度的调整是极重要的一环。许多长床身机床是利用如图1所示的顶絲,来调整导轨在垂直平面内直线性及两导轨的不平行度。试验结果证明,利用顶絲调整导轨精度虽极灵敏,但拧紧地脚螺钉后容易破坏已调好的导轨精度。所以目前生产的龙门铣床和龙门刨床等的床身,均不采用这种结构,而是直接利用调整垫铁来调整导轨精度。但往往由于地基不平或调整垫铁上下面不平行等原因,会使垫铁与床身底面接触不良,如图2所
