翻译教学是大学英语教学的难点,也是大学英语教学的重要组成部分。由于中文的博大精深给汉译英翻译过程造成了许多烦,晦涩词的翻译就是其中之一。在大学英语翻译教学中,晦涩词的英译有时对于整个语篇意义的呈现至关重要。对于中文原文中的晦词进行翻译,要遵循一定的翻译原则,并在此基础上掌握语境关联、直意译相结合、视觉转换等行之有效的技巧。
Translation teaching is a difficult part of college English teaching and it is also an important part of college English teaching. As the profoundness of Chinese language has caused many annoyances in the process of translation from Chinese to English, the translation of obscure words is one of them. In the English translation teaching of college, the English translation of obscure words is sometimes crucial to the presentation of the entire discourse. For the translation of eulogy in the original Chinese language, certain translation principles should be followed, and on this basis, effective techniques such as contextual relevance, direct translation, and visual transformation should be mastered.
