毛泽东研究已经走过了５０多年的历程，大体经过了１９４５年到１９５７年的序幕与开端时期，之后的注家蜂起时期，文革十年的扭曲时期，以及新时期以来的拨乱反正和鉴赏成熟时期。为使研究更加深入，要吸取以往教训，采用开放性的研究方法，倡导创新精神，宏观研究与微观研究相结合，从个体研究到整体研究，从具体研究到比较研究，从作家作品研究到文学史研究，从文学史研究到文化史研究，另外，要组建一支老中青相结合的研究队伍。
Mao Zedong’s research has gone through more than 50 years of history, generally after the prelude and beginning of 1945 to 1957, the period after the beekeeping, the distortion of the ten years of the Cultural Revolution, and the rectification and rectification since the new era. In order to make the research more in-depth, we should draw lessons from the past, adopt open research methods, advocate innovative spirit, combine macro and micro studies, from individual studies to holistic studies, from specific studies to comparative studies, from writers’ works to literature History research, from the history of literature to the study of cultural history, in addition, to build a combination of old and young research team.
