调解又称和解,是我国解决各类纠纷特别是民事纠纷的一个重要且行之有效的手段和方法。调解工作本身就是一个庞大而又完整的体系。调解工作深深植根于我国的传统文化中,具有深厚的文化底蕴,又与我国现代化的建设与发展密不可分。其理论基础博大精深,方法、措施多种多样。在社会主义法制建设的框架下,民事调解工作制度的设立与完善日益显示着强大的生命力。
Mediation, also known as reconciliation, is an important and effective means and method for resolving various disputes in our country, especially civil disputes. Mediation itself is a huge and complete system. The mediation work is deeply rooted in the traditional culture of our country and has a profound cultural background. It is also inseparable from the construction and development of our country’s modernization. Its theoretical basis is profound, methods and measures are varied. Under the framework of building a socialist legal system, the establishment and improvement of the system of civil mediation work have increasingly shown strong vitality.
