《宠儿》是美国著名非裔女作家托妮·莫里森的经典代表作。莫里森以其如诗如画的文字向广大读者呈现了一幅优美的黑人文化的历史画卷。文章主要从非洲古老的宗教信仰、名字与命名的重要性和黑人音乐这三个方面来展现作品中所蕴含的非洲传统文化的独特魅力,表达了作者对被白人主流社会抹杀的黑人文化与历史的关注。莫里森通过写作的方式追寻和传承黑人文化,成为非洲传统文化的代言人。
“Beloved” is the famous representative of African American writer Toni Morrison’s classic. Morrison presented his beautiful picture of black culture to his readers with his picturesque texts. The article mainly expounds the unique charm of African traditional culture contained in the works from three aspects: the ancient religious belief in Africa, the importance of name and naming and black music, and expresses the author’s criticism of the black culture and history denied by the white mainstream society s concern. Morrison pursues and inherits black culture through writing and becomes the spokesman of African traditional culture.
