十二、国际货代业务员应具备的保险知识 在国际贸易中,进出口货物需要远涉重洋,在运输、装卸、存储的过程中,往往会遇到各种风险而使货物遭受损失。买方或卖方为了在货物遭到损失后能得到一定的经济上的补偿,就需要在货物起运之前,对货进行运输保险。 办理货物运输保险,是指被保险人(Insured)就其货物按一定的金额向保险人亦称承保人(Insurer)投保一定的险别,保险人按投保金额和投保险别的费率收取保险费,并出具保险单证。事后,如所保货物在运输过程中遭受风险责任范围内的损失,保险单证的持有人即可向保险人要求赔偿。
