前言第十九届IUGG(国际大地测量与地球物理联合会)大会于1987年8月9日至22日在加拿大温哥华市的不列颠哥伦比亚大学召开。来自77个国家的约4000名科学家出席了大会。我国出席大会的代表近90名,另外还有约60名在国外学习的中国留学生出席了大会。本文仅就第十九届IUGG大会上IAGA的概况和地球电磁感应研究的某些新进展作一扼要介绍。
Preface The nineteenth IUGG (International Geodesy and Geophysical Union) conference was held at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada from August 9 to 22, 1987. About 4,000 scientists from 77 countries attended the conference. Nearly 90 representatives of China attended the conference and about 60 Chinese students studying abroad attended the conference. This article only briefly introduces the general situation of IAGA at the 19th IUGG conference and some new developments in the study of electromagnetic induction in the Earth.
