结合对米象的生物学的研究,对磷化氢处理米象不同虫态的效果作了比较长时期的试验和观察。结果表明,米象的成虫和幼虫,只要磷化氢浓度达到0.04毫克/升,维持48小时以上,就可完全致死。但对米象的卵和蛹,则需要采取适时分期施药的方法,在米象完成一个世代的时间内,使仓内磷化氢浓度一直保持不低于成虫的致死浓度,效果比较明显。
