Not long ago when I visited West Germany, I learned some new things about the 880 series diesel engines. I hereby introduce and make an analysis for the reference of comrades concerned with the development of this series of machines. MTU’s 880 series of diesel engines is the third generation of armored tracked vehicles in West Germany and was invested by the company after MTU was formed.
