据美国大豆理事会主办第二届大豆专题研讨会传出信息,美国食品药物管理局(FDA)不久将公告,发表其对加工食品是否应必须标明有无反式酸信息的研讨结果。 目前,美国大部份消费者对反式酸及其在食品中作用尚不甚了解,但仍希望尽可能在食品标签上说明其信息。据研究认为,反式酸能增高血清胆固醇,特别是能增高低密度胆蛋白胆固醇,而减少高密度脂蛋白。FDA曾对多不饱和脂肪酸、单不饱脂肪酸。饱和脂肪酸作定义,但反式酸仍未包括在上述三个范畴内。FDA对反式酸研讨现仍处微妙阶段,尚未定论。 (森)
According to the second Soybean Symposium hosted by the U.S. Soybean Council, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will soon announce its findings on whether or not processed foods should be labeled with trans acid information. At present, most consumers in the United States are not yet familiar with trans-acids and their role in food, but still want to state their information as far as possible on food labels. According to the study, trans-acid can increase serum cholesterol, in particular, can increase low-density cholesterin, and reduce high-density lipoprotein. FDA has polyunsaturated fatty acids, monounsaturated fatty acids. The definition of saturated fatty acids, trans acid is still not included in the above three categories. The FDA is still on a delicate phase of trans-acid study, yet to be conclusive. (Sen)
