本文提出了一个改善对焊接头的疲劳抗力和安全性的新方法,并进行了实验验证。实验结果表明,将对接焊缝设计在最大切应力平面内,疲劳寿命可大大提高,而且可将疲劳裂纹扩展引入基材。因此,临界裂纹尺寸将取决于基材的断裂韧性,因而对接焊缝的安全性得以改善。再则,除去焊缝加强高度,可将疲劳裂纹起始部位和裂纹扩展路径由焊趾移向基材,这意味着对焊接头的疲劳寿命和安全性将取决于基材的力学性能。
In this paper, a new method to improve the fatigue resistance and safety of the welded joints is proposed and verified by experiments. The experimental results show that the butt-welded joint design in the maximum shear stress plane, the fatigue life can be greatly enhanced, but also the fatigue crack growth introduced into the substrate. Therefore, the critical crack size will depend on the fracture toughness of the substrate, so the safety of the butt weld is improved. Furthermore, removing the weld reinforcement height moves the fatigue crack initiation site and the crack propagation path from the weld toe to the substrate, which means that the fatigue life and safety of the weld will depend on the mechanical properties of the substrate.
