番茄扦插育苗可充分利用优株上的侧枝,变废为宝,节省育苗时间和周年提供生产用苗。扦插用湿润疏松土壤或(石至)石与沙混合作基质。将生产园打叉时掰下的侧枝茎尖剪下,每个枝带2—3片叶,在距下边叶片1—3厘米处剪成斜面,然后插入床中。夏季扦插注意蔽荫,床温控制在20—30℃,湿度保持80—90％。10—15天后,插入土中部分变粗,逐渐长出3—5条根,地上长出1—2片新叶时,便可定植到大田内。
