The American native woman writer Polagan Allen is a talented and versatile generalist. Her literary creation, commentary and teaching have greatly promoted the process of American Aboriginal literature’s classicization and contributed to the development of American indigenous literature. However, it is regrettable that Allen’s identity as a poet has not received sufficient attention. In fact, Alan has been tirelessly writing beautiful poetry. From 1974 to 2009, she published 9 poems. Alan is a representative of indigenous feminism, and her poetry is to some extent a comprehensive textual practice of her daring aboriginal feminist theory. Allen’s core concept of indigenous feminism - “Matriarchy” reinforces the power of goddesses and women in the universe, highlights the core values of the matriarchal family in the cosmology of Aboriginal Americans and is a magic weapon for Allan’s construction of the unique identity of Indian women .
