广东省广宁县盛产青皮竹,素有“竹乡”之称。近些年来,由于竹笋象鼻虫的危害,每年竹笋的受害率达46-53%,严重地影响了竹子生产的发展。竹笋象鼻虫在广宁一年一代,由于其成虫单独活动,飞翔力强,抗药力强,幼虫期在笋内,蛹期在泥土深处,防治较困难。历来采用人工捕捉成虫,用刀剃卵和幼虫的方法,花劳力多,投资大,对笋的损伤大。为解决这个问题,县林科所经过几年的试验研究,找出了用40%的乐果乳剂3-6倍液涂抹虫孔防治竹笋象鼻虫的方法,杀虫效果可达95%以上。防治时间:抓紧成虫产卵后5天内涂药。虫孔鉴别方法:成虫产卵后1天,虫孔新鲜,青而湿;2天灰白带青;3天灰黑而干;4天只露少量纤维,5天后不见纤维只有虫尿。方法:用毛笔沾配好的药剂涂虫孔。通过近几年试验和大面积推广应用实践证明,用乐果乳剂涂抹虫孔防治竹笋象鼻虫,防效高、成本低(平均每亩防治费3分钱)、操作简便,不伤害竹笋,比人工削剃法提高工效5倍左右,很受群众欢迎。
