近10年来,上海中心城(即外环路以内地区)道路建设取得了有目共睹的巨大成就。自“三纵三横”主干道和内环“申”字型高架路为代表的骨干道路建成后,在优先发展轨道交通、公共交通及在用地紧张的条件下,再加上机动车交通发展的压力,未来的上海中心城是否需要继续进行道路建设?如果需要建设,那么需要建设多少道路设施?哪些区域、哪些地点是道路设施建设的重点?这些问题是本文探索的主题。
