孙敬男,(1912—1979)著名导演。安徽寿县人。1932年10月参加上海明星影片公司当演员,1938年后在上海艺华、中华、国泰、中企等影片公司任导演、编剧。编导的影片有数十部之多。1951年4月到卫生部电化教育所任导演。1958年s月调入西安电影制片厂任导演。孙敬有强烈的敬业精神,1979年他在广西南宁执导彩色故事片《乳燕飞》期间,由于劳累过度心肌梗塞病突发,经抢救无效,不幸于同年6月14日病故于外景地。孙敬是我国老一辈电影导演,也是西影厂建厂元老之一。他艺术修养深厚,电影语言纯熟,经验丰富,乐于助人,胸怀坦荡,淡泊名利,给同辈和后继留下难忘的印象。据不完全统计,建国前他拍摄的影片有21部。

According to incomplete statistics, before the founding of the state he had 21 films.
