宋代画院的美术教育培养了大批的绘画人才,他们精通画史、画理,懂得中国画的鉴定和品评,具有很强的绘画创作能力,对以后各个历史时期的中国画人才培养都产生了较为深远的影响。面对当前日益增强的国力,中华民族自信力的恢复和增强,我们传统文化的优势也日益显现,重新研究代表中国画教育成功典范的宋代画院教育,将使我们吸取更多的营养,势必对中国画的教育和发展起到积极的作用,它理应成为中国画教育的指示灯。
