从心脏表面直接记录心电图已成为一种标准检测方法。以往采用针状和片状电极作检测。片状电极缝于心肌表面。但对病人作心脏直视手术时,大多采用手持式检测电极作纪录。英国伦敦Bartholomew医院设计了一种可供心外膜与心内表面检测的通用短型探测器和另一种可伸到心外膜表面后,使用时不需把心脏抬高到胸腔外的较长探测器。这两种手持式探测器采用三电极结构,电极用直径1毫米银质导线制成,相互间隔2毫米,呈等边三角形。采用三极结构是为了解决激励波前的方向性问题。
