荷兰国家铁路(NS)购置一批新型货运内燃机车,以代替50年代原有的2200和2400型机车。本文说明了新机车的选型准则,而且以采用ABB交流电力传动装置的MaK标准内燃机车作为设计的基型。在介绍了荷兰国铁必要的运用条件后,接着叙述了目前正在交货中的6400型机车,其中着重于转向架、动力装置、辅助传动装置、交流电力传动装置、制动装置和司机室。本文在展望中最后指出,这种结构的内燃机车将特别适于占领欧洲内部市场,并将成为欧洲铁路的标准型机车。由于篇幅较长,本文分为上、下两篇,下篇将在本刊下期发表。
The Dutch National Railways (NS) purchased a number of new freight diesel locomotives to replace the original 2200 and 2400 locomotives of the 1950s. This article describes the selection criteria for new locomotives and uses the MaK standard diesel locomotive with ABB AC power transmission as the design base. After introducing the necessary conditions for the use of ABN AMRO, the 6400 locomotive currently under delivery is described, focusing on bogies, power units, auxiliary transmissions, AC power transmissions, brakes and cabs. This paper concludes with an outlook that this structure of diesel locomotive will be particularly suitable for occupation of the European interior market and will become a standard locomotive for the European railway.
