中共中央总书记、国家主席、中央军委主席习近平在出席亚洲相互协作与信任措施会议上海峰会后,于5月22日在上海召开外国专家座谈会。他强调,任何一个民族、任何一个国家都需要学习别的民族、别的国家的优秀文明成果。中国要永远做一个学习大国,不论发展到什么水平都虚心向世界各国人民学习,以更加开放包容的姿态,加强同世界各国的互容、互鉴、互通,不断把对外开放提高到新的水平。
Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, chairman of the State Council and chairman of the Central Military Commission, convened a forum of foreign experts in Shanghai on May 22 after attending the Shanghai summit on the Asian Conference on Mutual Cooperation and Confidence-Building. He emphasized that any one nation or any country needs to learn about outstanding civilized achievements of other nations and other countries. China will always be a big learning country, no matter what level it is going to learn from people of all countries in the world with a more open and inclusive attitude, enhance mutual tolerance, mutual aid and exchange with other countries in the world and keep opening to the outside world to a new level .
