诗歌翻译的艺术,是在各种要素之间取得平衡的艺术。成功的汉诗英译,应体现出“信”与“美”的和谐统一。在具体的翻译过程中,译者应采用三条标准来把握信息传递效果:准确度、冗余度、可接受性。更重要的是,信息精确还应看其是否能传达出原文的意境、情感和风格。如果不能传达,则应转换信息的表达方式,因为只有这样才能作到“信”“美”兼备。
The art of poetic translation is an art that balances the various elements. Successful English translation of Chinese poetry should reflect the harmony and unity of “letter” and “beauty”. In the concrete translation process, the translator should adopt three criteria to grasp the effect of information transmission: accuracy, redundancy and acceptability. More importantly, the information should also be accurate to see whether it can convey the original artistic conception, emotion and style. If you can not convey, you should change the way of expression of information, because only in this way can be “letter” “beauty” both.
