In commemoration of the sixtieth anniversary of the victory of the Long March, young military traveler Shi Zhongshan once again painted the long march - a feat unheard of. The author is even more concerned about the state of human existence in a desperate situation. With a unique perspective, he reproduced the Red Army’s fifth “encirclement and suppression” defeat and was forced to march to the long march and to the tragedy of the Xiangjiang River Campaign. In a plain language, it depict the ideology, mentality and method of doing things of the leaders of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party of China during the specific historical period and the different fates they have created. War, never let love go away. Under a large historical background, the author has incorporated several love stories with ordinary characters and made the serious war literature more humane, readable and rekindling the thrilling human war.
