新中国成立以来,特别是改革开放以来,我国的纺织工业有了迅速发展,已经成为世界纺织大国,在解决占世界1/5人口的中国人民穿、用和就业,为国家建设积累资金,增加出口创汇和促进改革开放等方面,都作出了重要贡献。但是,80年代末以来,由于种种原因,却愈来愈困难,至1996年亏损大幅度增加,停产半停产企业和下岗人员增多,成为全国最困难行业之一,引起了各级党委、人民政府和社会广泛关注,被国家列为重点支持的扭亏试点行业。
Since the founding of New China, especially since the reform and opening up, China’s textile industry has developed rapidly and has become a major textile country in the world. It has solved the wear, use, and employment of the Chinese people who account for 1/5 of the world’s population, accumulating funds for national construction, and increased Exports and the promotion of reform and opening up have made important contributions. However, since the late 1980s, due to various reasons, it has become more and more difficult. By 1996, the loss has increased dramatically. The number of semi-discontinued companies and laid-off workers have increased. It has become one of the most difficult industries in the country, causing party committees and people’s governments at all levels. It has been widely concerned with the society and has been listed as a key support for the government in the piloting industry.
