安康儿童美术教育是从十年前开始起步的。一开始便以其作品的生动、强烈、指导教师们充满热情而引起美术界的注目。特别是其指导方法的的理论探索已成为安康儿童美术教育一大特点。十年过去了当时提出的有争议的议题,已被美术教育界广泛认可。我们提倡的美术家参与辅导的设想已成为现实,“让孩子自己完善自己”的做法,也被大部分家长所接受。这样,几年前安康儿童画的辅导者,变为“观望者”。在这期间我们认识到一个比旧式强化训练更为让人困惑的问题。即:新的美术教育并没有起到完善儿童美术教育的作用,而是更为极端地以纯“画面”为目的,以“纯艺术家”的态度条对待儿童,客观上和过去一样破坏了儿童自然发展的和谐性。
