随着市场、经济全球化,基于单个企业的管理模式己经无法赢得市场竞争,在这种情况下,出现了“横向一体化”的管理模式,即供应链的管理模式。高效的供应链管理有助于企业构筑核心竞争力。而库存管理始终是企业生产经营过程中不可缺少的重要组成部分,是价值链实现增值的重要环节。在供应链管理模式下,库存量的高低不仅影响单一企业的综合成本,而且也制约着整条行业供应链的性能。供应商管理库存(Vendor Managed Inventory,VMI)作为一种新型的库存管理策略,充分体现了供应链集成管理的思想。本文将通过C公司向供应商推动VMI的过程,反映出中小企业在实际推行VMI出现的一些问题,及一些相应的对策。
With the market and economic globalization, the management model based on a single enterprise can not win the market competition. Under such circumstances, the management mode of “horizontal integration” has emerged, that is, the management mode of the supply chain. Efficient supply chain management helps companies build their core competencies. Inventory management has always been an indispensable part in the production and operation of an enterprise. It is also an important link in realizing value-added in the value chain. In supply chain management mode, the level of inventory not only affects the overall cost of a single enterprise, but also restricts the performance of the entire industry supply chain. As a new inventory management strategy, Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) fully reflects the idea of integrated management of supply chain. This article will promote the process of VMI to suppliers through Company C, reflecting some problems that SMEs have in implementing VMI and some corresponding countermeasures.
