拥有40年材料与工程专业知识积累的英国摩根先进材料公司近日为印度塔塔汽车公司的轻型多功能装甲车(LAMV)设计生产了定制乘员座舱。座舱采用陶瓷与复合材料,与等效钢材料装甲相比重量降低50%,同时可以抵御更广泛的战场威胁。装甲车辆总重量因此减少1000kg。座舱采用了摩根先进材料公司的CAMAC技术,是由弹道级的纤维增强热固性复合材料板与陶瓷装甲冲击面组成
With 40 years of accumulated expertise in materials and engineering, Morgan Advanced Materials has designed and produced a custom crew cockpit for LAMV, India’s Tata Motors. Cabin with ceramic and composite materials, compared with equivalent steel material armor weight reduction of 50%, while being able to withstand a wider battlefield threat. The total weight of armored vehicles is therefore reduced by 1000kg. The cockpit uses Morgan Advanced Materials’ CAMAC technology and is comprised of ballistic-grade fiber-reinforced thermoset composite panels and ceramic armor impact surfaces
