新诗的草创是在白话语言和写实方法两个维度上展开的。前者的革命性无庸置疑,后者的选择却有其吊诡之处:这一来自传统的方法被新诗设计者们借重为反传统的利器,也摇身一变为革命性话语。写实的高张,首先是一种受限于现代白话语言成熟程度的自然选择,但它在进化论的语境下被西方文学思潮谱系中的现实主义所收编从而赋予了现代性内涵,于是又成为一种新诗实验者们的主体选择。新诗的尝试乃至成功都与对现实主义精神与方法的现代性认知相关。
The creation of new poem is carried out in two aspects of the vernacular language and the realistic method. There is no doubt about the former’s revolutionary nature. The latter’s choice has its paradox: this traditional method was borrowed by new-style poetry designers as an anti-traditional weapon and transformed into a revolutionary discourse. Realistic exaggeration is above all a natural choice constrained by the degree of maturity of modern vernacular languages but it is conferred with modernity by the realism in the lineage of Western literary trends in the context of evolutionism and thus becomes A Subject Selection of New Poetry Experimenters. The attempts and even successes of new poetry are all related to the cognition of the modernity of the spirit and method of realism.
