美国的SAT考试是从1926年起实行的大学升学考试,历经几度修改以适应时代的变化,目前正在改革当中的新SAT已经于2005年春季正式实行。改革包括四项具体考试内容的变化以及总体记分和时间的变化:1.取消逻辑类比问题;2.增加短文阅读理解;3.取消数学部分的数值比较,增加高等数学的部分基础内容;4.增设写作部分。总分从原来的1600分增加到2400分;时间延长30分钟。本文通过介绍和分析美国SAT考试及其新改革,由此得出其对我国高考制度的几点启示。
The SAT exam in the United States is a university entrance exam that has been in force since 1926, with several modifications to adapt to the changes of the times. The new SAT, which is undergoing reforms, was officially implemented in the spring of 2005. The reform includes the changes of four specific examinations as well as the change of the overall score and time: 1. Cancel the problem of logical analogy; 2. Increase reading comprehension; 3. Cancel the numerical comparison of mathematics and increase some basic contents of higher mathematics; Add writing section. The total score from the original 1600 points increased to 2400 points; time extension of 30 minutes. By introducing and analyzing the American SAT test and its new reform, this article draws some enlightenment to the college entrance examination system in our country.
