Messe Essen joins up with partner in Russia
Messe Essen is closely collaborating with Weldex， Russia’s most important fair for welding technology and thus strengthening the foreign commitment of its global reference fair Schweissen & Schneiden. Within the framework of this cooperation， Messe Essen’s team is responsible， among other tasks， for marketing Weldex in the DACH region covering Germany， Austria and Switzerland and organising the "German Pavilion" promoted by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs. "This collaboration entails genuine synergetic effects for the international welding sector"， says Oliver P. Kuhrt， CEO of Messe Essen.

IEG launches European power event
The world of energy and its safe and efficient management has a new meeting place： DPE – Distributed Power Europe， the event dedicated to power generation will be held at Rimini Expo Centre from November 5 to 8， 2019. Organised by Italian Exhibition Group （IEG）， the event will be held simultaneously with Ecomondo， the expo for green technologies and circular economy， and Key Energy， the fair for renewable energy and energy efficiency. The event will provide visitors a showcase for power generation technology and components， applications for continuous power supplies， the means for producing decentralised energy when there is no grid and peak shaving.
英富曼集团重组后业务稳健增长

Informa restructures for more growth
Informa looks back on a successful year for the Global Exhibitions division as the group managed to reach international and regional scale， add depth in attractive market verticals， and leading B2B brands delivered strong underlying revenue growth of +6.7% for the full year for the 12 months to 31 December 2018. Stephen A. Carter， group chief executive， said： "In 2018， the Informa Group delivered a fifth consecutive year of improving growth， increasing adjusted profits， adjusted earnings per share， cashflow and dividends." Revenues for Global Exhibitions came in at ￡575.8m （2017： ￡560.4m） with an adjusted operating margin of 34.8% （2017： 35.9%）. In 2018， Global Exhibitions represented 24.3% of revenues and 27.3% of adjusted operating profit. While 2018 was defined by the topic of combination & creation with the integration of UBM， which is nearing completion with the accelerated integration plan ahead of schedule， the aims for 2019 are performance & growth.
