Graham Hagen and Helen Tiffin cite Marjorie Spiegel’s terrible contrast to the second half of his book Post-Colonial Ecocriticism: Literature, Animals, and Environment: Humans and Animals Slavery, “which focuses on the ideological linkages between racism and species discrimination in postcolonial ecocriticism.
