1.前言在DIPS-1系统中,采用磁盘存储器作为主存的虚拟存储器或数据库的用户文件存储器。过去采用的磁盘存储器(DKM),容量仅为3千万字节/盘组。由于数据通信的普及,相应要求增加存储器容量(随之要求增加台数),这样,使整个系统的价格上升,降低了系统的价格性能比,因此希望磁盘存储器能够实现经济化。为了使磁盘存储器的单位容量的价格大大下降和提高其基本性能,从1971年起进行了改进型大容量磁盘存储器(DPM)(试制型的名称为101型)的试制工作。要实现的主要目标有如下几项: (1) 实现装置大容量化,以降低单位信息的价格; (2) 提高基本性能;
1. Introduction In the DIPS-1 system, disk storage is used as the user file storage for the primary virtual memory or database. Historically used disk storage (DKM) has a capacity of only 30 million bytes per disk pack. Due to the popularity of data communications, the corresponding increase in memory capacity (which requires an increase in the number of units), so that the entire system price increases, reducing the price-performance ratio of the system, so I hope disk memory can be economized. In order to greatly reduce the unit capacity of disk storage and to improve its basic performance, trial production of an improved high-capacity disk storage (DPM) (prototype 101) has been carried out since 1971.
