Field testing of Harrier cleaners on trucks and marine diesel engines proved to be effective. Recently, a new emission control device called the Harrier diesel cleaner was launched on the world market. According to engineers at Harrier’s European headquarters in Monchaltorf, Switzerland, the unit is designed to reduce diesel micro-pull, carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) substantially. The cleaner was developed in 1987, when Harrier conducted a research study from the patented unit it had purchased. Its purpose is to make two kinds of liquid with different specific gravity emulsify without using emulsifier. Harrier now claims that the new K3 diesel cleaner reduces exhaust particulate matter by 35-40%, carbon monoxide by 15-25%, and nitrogen oxide by 10-15%. Black smoke and coke reduction of up to 80%.
