Objective To explore the application effect of hemostatic buckle on blood armchair. Methods The self-control method was used to stop the bleeding of 286 single-platelet recipients after the first blood-sampling and the hemostatic cuff on the handrail of the blood-collecting chair to stop the bleeding. After 2 times of pressing, the hemostasis was observed. Compression on hemostasis compliance rate, subcutaneous congestion or hematoma incidence. Results The needle-to-eye hemostasis rate was 5, 10, and 15 min after 2 and 5 press methods respectively. The conventional press group was 0 (0/286), 44.76% (128/286) and 55.24% (158/286) (76/286), 64.69% (185/286) and 8.74% (25/286) respectively. The complication rate of blood donors on the method of pressing hemostasis was 0 (0/286) in the conventional compression group, (286/286). The incidence of subcutaneous congestion or hematoma was 3.15% (9/286) in the conventional compression group and 0 (0/286) in the hemostatic buckle compression group, and the hemostasis was stopped in 2 different time periods Rate, blood donors on the method of compliance with hemostasis compliance and subcutaneous congestion or hematoma incidence, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01). Conclusion The design of the hemostatic buckle on the handrail of blood donation chair is simple in structure, easy to install and use, and can replace the artificial eye of needle to improve the hemostatic effect. It is welcomed by the blood donors and worth popularizing and applying to the blood collecting and donating institution.
