戏剧作为一种特殊的文学形式,其语言具有文学作品语言的共性。但戏剧主要通过人物台词塑造人物形象,推动剧情发展,加上舞台表演的需要,使戏剧语言具有了其他文学体裁所不具备的一些特性。同样,戏剧翻译也应具有自身的特性。从戏剧语言的口语性、通俗性、动作性和人物性等方面,对著名剧作家尤金·奥尼尔的成名作《天边外》的两个中译本进行对比分析,以此说明戏剧语言的这些特性是如何在戏剧翻译中得到体现的。
As a special kind of literary form, drama has a common language in literary works. However, the dramas mainly use person lines to shape figures, promote the development of the story, and the need of theatrical performances, so that the dramatic language possesses some characteristics that other literary genres do not possess. Similarly, drama translation should also have its own characteristics. From the aspects of colloquiality, popularity, action and character of dramatic language, this article compares the two Chinese versions of the famous playwright Eugene O’Neill’s famous book, “Beyond the Horizon”, to illustrate these characteristics of drama language How to get reflected in drama translation.
